This is the fifth Christmas/New Year since Andy’s devastating stroke in November 2011 and as we enter the new year of 2016 we have decided that Andy’s blog will be wound up and this will be the final update.
Since the previous blog update Andy’s book ‘PRESSED BUT NOT CRUSHED’ has been published, telling his story with great honesty and in much more detail than can be written in this blog. If you haven’t yet read the book, it can be bought through Amazon (link below) or ordered through Christian book shops.

A black tie book launch, organised by Andy, was held on 12th September in Birmingham. 350 colleagues, friends and family raised over £12,500 for the charity ‘HOPE FOR JUSTICE’ through book sales and an auction on the night.
We want to thank all of you who have supported Andy, Emma and all the family over the past 4 years and 2 months; your prayers, compassion and kindness have strengthened and encouraged us through some dark and difficult times. Although many challenges may await Andy and Emma in the coming year there are also many possibilities for new achievements and experiences.
We continue to hold on the promises of God:-
‘Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall:
But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
They will walk and not be faint.’ (Isaiah 40: 30-31)
“For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord, “plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11, The Bible)
'I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.' (Philippians 4:13)
'For with God nothing shall be impossible' (Luke 1:17)
God bless you all
