Hi all
Andy has now moved from the high dependency room of the stroke ward to a different bed because he is now medically much more stable and so last week they stopped monitoring his heart rate and oxygen etc. The consultant, who returned from a ten day break, was astounded by Andy's progress and has confirmed that he feels Andy is now medically fit.
Andy has communicated that he is much less anxious and he certainly seems to seem much more relaxed over the past couple of days, which is an incredible answer to prayer.
The doctor is really pleased with Andy's feeding and they are hoping to take the nasal gastric tube out next week.
'We thank you Lord for Andy's continued steady progress week on week.'
Amazing! Andy is evidence of miracles happening every day. God is amazing!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to everyone in 2012. My regards to Andy. I am sure that I speak for many who have read these pages but not posted, that you have shown great strength during terrible times and that this blog has been inspirational. I hope and pray, as I am sure that all who have known you do, for your continued recovery in the coming year.
